Hello there,

my iPhone 3G (running on 2.2/unlocked by yellowsn0w) stopped sending SMS without any reason!

it was sending without problem before, now everytime I write an sms then hit send I got "error sending message"

I tried to reset settings, network settings, change SMS center via codes, I even restore it to 2.2, jailbreak and unlock same thing, can't send sms...

I switched SIM cards also, my SIM is working OK with any other phone, even with my other iPhone 3G (official unlock).

the problem only with sending sms, I can receive without problem.

What to do? do I need to reflash baseband? is it yellowsn0w that caused this?

nothin works until now, can it be from the baseband? is there a way to flash 2.28 again?

Strange problem bud you say that even a full DFU restore & setting up as new phone in itunes doesn't fix it

Only way I could think you can flash the BB is if you had the 5.8 bootloader.

If you did you could upgrade to 2.30 then downgrade to 2.28 again.

yeah, strange I restored from Restore Mode, DFU Mode and used a new iPhone with iTunes but all the same!!

but I can't find a reason!! if I removed the SIM card from this iPhone to the one offically unlocked, I can send/recieve!!

is there a way to reflash 2.28 again without updating to 2.30 then downgrading?

I can't upgrade my BB, I have 5.9 bootloader...is there a way to force iTunes to flash 2.28 while restoring?

tried everything I read, same thing!!
