Two weeks ago i thought i lost my iphone , fortuantely its been insured so i got my new iphone from o2 for free. Yesterday my girlfriend found it in her handbag . I havent found any information whether you already got solution to unblock the iPhone 3G , some hacks, changing imei or whatever ? At least i can use it as a GPS navigator and mp3 player ..

it would be helpful to tell us the firmware version, the baseband? some info...

This is fraud. It is illegal - the honest thing to do would be to report you found the original phone and hand it in. Then the phone can be re-used/unlocked. Maybe your girlfriend even might get a refund on any insurance excess she might have had to pay.

As well as being illegal, insurance fraud just pushes the insurance costs up for everyone else.
