NEED help with SIM Question? Anyone?

Well I've been searching the internet everywhere and can't seem to find a straight answer. I have AT&T, and I want to buy an iphone from Craigslist. Some guy that I contacted said that even though his iPhone is not unlocked, running 3.0 and 5.11.07 I could still use my regular AT&T SIM card and it would work fine. Does ANYONE know whether this is true? If so does that mean I could use my sim for 3.1.3 and 5.12.01?

Hi I posted this is another forum but I need a quick answer. If I have an AT&T SIM card, and I buy an iPhone with 3.1.3 and 5.12.01, can I just put my normal at&t sim card into the phone and have it work

Hi i'm wondering if I can take my regular AT&T sim card that I have and put it into an iPhone with 3.1.3 and modem 5.12.01 and have it work with all the functions?

att sim cards work on any iphone. they only have to be unlocked for use with other carriers like t-mobile.

I got my iPhone and I can confirm this for any noobs like me. Stuck it in (I was unaware of a lock on my sim) and after 3 incorrect tries, I was forwarded to enter the PUK code. I called up at&t, entered it and wham! it worked.
