    Default 3G unlocked by mistake

A friend of mine gave to me a 3G iPhone that had application problems.
I used PwnageTool last week and put turbo sim and everything was ok until yesterday when the appl. stopped working.
I restored the iPhone with previous firmware that I used it with PwnageTool and reinstall the applications. Everything works well except the turbo SIM. It gaves me (no SIM card found). I tried to remove the turbo sim and put it back with the SIM card for several times, (approx. 50 to 70 times), and it doesn't work. Finally, I gave up and removed the turbo SIM then I put back only the SIM card without the turbo SIM. After 1 minute suddenly the iPhone was unlocked and everything works well.
I don't know what happened, but untill know the iPhone is unlocked without turbo SIM. Is there any explanation?????????

Give me a break! 60 - 70 times and then it stayed unlocked!

    Finally I found the truth.
The guy who gave to me the 3G said that he brought the iPhone from Italy.
I think all the iPhones in Italy are unlocked.
so don't try what I did because I found that it's originally unlocked and not by mistake.
