3G surfing problems with 2.1 and 1.45 modem
So a few days back I upgraded my iPhone 3G from 2.0.2 (still had the modem firmware from 2.0) to 2.1, using PwnageTool of course. This kept my modem firmware at 1.45.00, but I have begun experiencing problems using the 3G internet connection. WLAN works great as usual, but whether I can access the internet using the 3G connection is highly random between occasions. I have tried restoring once again to my custom 2.1 firmware, both restoring a backup and by setting up the phone as a new one.
Has anyone experienced this same problem? Could it maybe have something to do with a carrier update? I'm using an iPhone 3G bought in Sweden with Telia 2.7 as the carrier version.
Thank you.

bump.
I hope I'm not the only one with this problem. I want to stay away from the new baseband for as long as possible.

by your own admission the problem is probably due to having an old baseband on the new OS....so either downgrade or upgrade the baseband. seeing as how many of the upgrades have been to improve 3G connections doesnt that make sense? the improvements werent just in the OS they were in the baseband software aswell.
