3G icon not in a box

Hi everyone!

Today, I finally received my iPhone 3G.

When it was first activated using 2.0.2, the 3G icon was inside a box,
now with 2.1, it just displays 3G, just 3G alone, no fancy box.

Ideas?

Update: This is how it looks.
Update2: It looks like Apple removed the Fancy box from 3G.

Yes, apple changed the logo's.

If your one who likes the older ones. You can go get the package off Cydia, which replaces your EDGE/GPRS/3G Icons with the old ones. Its on BigBoss' Rep...

wasnt it done to improve the "easyness" to understand the signal? when theres no difference apart from the box, and i dont get the "E" i get a small circle instead when theres no 3g signal
