3G error 1015 restore problem
I have been looking everywhere for a solution to fixing my phone but cant seem to find one so i thought i would post on here.
I have a 3G that was jailbroken and unlocked that decided not to work anymore and it came up with the connect to itunes logo. I have tried everything to sort out the problem. When i restore with itunes it gives the error code 1015.
I hope someone could help me with this because its doing my head in :s
"This error is common when downgrading iPhones and 3G-enabled iPads. The problem occurs when the device's baseband has a higher version number than the baseband in the firmware you restored to." Use FixRecovery or TinyUMbrella's exit recovery option to fix this.
This is NOT a unique problem, if you really had searched hackint0sh prior to creating a duplicate thread you would have found the answer to this problem is quite easy.
Also if you have tried these tools without success you would also have noticed that with ALL restore related issues I mention that publishing the failed restore log is the ONLY way to truly diagnose the issue. You haven't done this so I can only assume this is a duplicate thread and close it.
Please read the stickies & search forum before posting! How to report an iTunes restore/update fail in a useful manner
