3G died. Managed to get it to work but now it is locked?
My iPhone (which I bought on eBay last year) died this week. After much searching on google etc. I managed to get it to connect to iTunes and do a restore to factory settings.
Problem is it now says my SIM (T-Mobile) is not compatible to activate the phone. Is there anything I can do?

If you have restored (at all during your troubleshooting) to OS 3.1.3 then you likely have lost your unlock (for now). Wait a few weeks..
Otherwise if you restored to OS 3.1.2 you can jailbreak with redsn0w or blackra1n to hacktivate and then reinstall blacksn0w for unlock.
