Ok i recently purchased an iphone 3g from an acquaintance when he replaced it with a 3gs, when i got it he had upgraded to 3.0 (doh, i'm on an old at&t account). SO i went and have pwnaged tool and redsnowed a few times but the issue i'm having is this. To test it i've put in my mothers 3g att sim which she has in her 3g running 2.2.1 w/ 2.30 BB. But when i do it does not get a signal on mine 3.0 w/ 4.28 bb. Also when i plug it into itunes it shows no number either but when she plugs hers in it does. I'm a little concerned there may be something wrong with the phone. Is this needed or should i just relax and wait for ultrasnow?
