Uhm!!! your title is wrong. when you update to 2.0.1 your iphone will still activated but not jailbreak. YOu misunderstand the different between activate and jailbreak. Plz read the tutorial to know the difference between though 2. Here the fact: Jailbreak mean you can fully access to the iphone folder but after you update your phone to 2.0.1 you'll lost your jailbreak(that mean no more SSH or cydia) but your phone will still activate and unlock (still there).

u r wrong my friend, i just update to 2.0.1 and i have third party apps(boss pref, boss tools). this has been confirmed by many. any way to concluded this firmware is working and running smooth on my fone. good luck to all. this only jailbreak and not unlock, and its for 3g only.

read carefully on page 16-19 on modmyifone which lead to a ware site which i cant post it here, but the link contain the new firmware 2.0.1 JB, using xpwn.

well, somewhere in the thread have mention about the size of the leaked filmware (only 94 mb) compare to the official filmware which is 200+mb. So, i think it just a worked around fw and...believe it or not...it may contain bug . I'll stick with dev team relase day for more stable j/b than.

afaik, planetbeing accidently pushed the 3G and iTouch bundles for 2.0.1 to the xpwn github. knowing github, he probably meant to push it to a private git repo, but pushed it to the public one instead. the devteam noticed this and had him pull it, but someone probably made an ipsw with the leaked bundles and put it up on MMi

somebody give me the md5 of the ipsw so i can tell you if it is infact the leaked bundles
