    Default [ziphone] Need to service, i believe it is on 3.9BL

    Hey everyone. I just got one of those refurb iPhones and I need to get it replaced because the touch screen often acts faulty. When i click one song, it plays another, and calls random people as well, so it pisses me off.

    Now, I was trying to get my bootloader number, but WinSCP wasn't working so I curiously opened BBInfo and it said Bootloader 3.9, so I assume thats what I had in the first place. Is this credible?

    I used ZiPhone to DO IT ALL on my iPhone, so is there a chance this downgraded my Bootloader to 3.9? And if I do refurbrish, what will happen?

    I want to make sure I don't get caught, because one mistake voids my warranty. Thanks!

    Your bl depends on when it was made just check the serial numbers then search the fourm on how to tell the bl by the numbers, if it was a recently made iPhone then you might be sol as ziphone downgrades the bl if you don't know what your doing and missuse it

    The week number does not matter on the refurbished iphones IMHO.Your phone had 4.6 BL if you just bought it.You are probably a victim of ziphone bootloader downgrade.
    First ever Apple product I bought : iPhone.

    if your phone was a refurb from ATT then it is most likely originally a 3.9 bootloader.

    What firmware did it come with originally? 1.0.0 - 1.1.1 are 3.9 bootloader and 1.1.2 onwards is 4.6.
    iPhone US 8GB
    FW 1.0.2--> iUnlock--> iPhoneSIMfree--> 1.1.1 --> 1.1.2--> Soft upgrade 1.1.3 --> 1.1.4 using signal.app
    iPhone UK 16GB
    FW 1.1.3 OOB --> 1.1.4 --> iPlus 1.2 unlocked!
