    Default [Ziphone] Can't make/receive calls?

Hi all, bought my phone second hand a couple of days ago, used ziphone as it was on O2 and for a day it worked fine making and receiving calls no prob. Today it will not make or receive calls at all but everything else works. Have tried going back to 1.1.3 and using Ziphone again but no joy. Any thoughts?

I'm very new to the iphone as well but I recently had problems and had to start my phone from scratch. here's the link to my thread where I got some great help in fixing my problems. using winpwn.

Someone should know better than me but I believe you have to factory restore and start from scratch. It really busted my brain doing it the first time but I tried it again on my wife's iphone and it was easy so I suggest it's good to learn to do. Now I'm not afraid to f**k up my phone because i can fix it very quickly.

If it works for you give Rohitk some thumbs up.

Reflash your basband to latest version using iliberty and then restore to 1.1.4

use iliberty to jailbreak activate and bootneuter to unlock.

    Do not use ziphone

I don't know how many times we have to remind users not to use ziphone. There is a sticky on top that says "ziphone - use at your own risk"

I guess that is not clear enough. let me consult with other mods to see if we should create a sticky to say "DO NOT USE ZIPHONE". Hopefully that will cut down the number of problems we have been seeing.

Did you try to send any SMS? I'm trying to figure out if your phone's radio unit is busted.

Have tried sending texts but just comes up with error sending. Flashed the baseband with bootneuter. it reckons I'm on 4.6. The modoem firmware is 04.04.05_g. Phone firmware is 1.1.4 (4A102)
