Sound like you have the right modem firmware in there with corresponding OS fw 1.1.4.
When you run booneuter (don't hit flash), it will report current setting/info. Is it on 4.6, bootneuter=on, unlock=on, FB=off ? - Please report back the info.
Also, do you see a valid IMEI ? The IMEI should match what's printed on the back of phone or the box.

yeah those are the settings that are in bootneuter and the IMEI matches the number on the back of the case.

Ok little bit of progress here, ran a check on the IMEI and it turns out this phone has been reported lost or stolen. What the hell do I do now, could this stop the phone from working?

Yes it does. if the owner reported it stolen at his provider they blocked the IMEI.

    Cool

been reading this thread for a bit now and it seems like its come to a halt. There are two paths you can take now, find a way to change the imei or try and find the owner of the phone........

Just to add one thing to law's wise comment. Changing the IMEI is illegal in some countries. It might be the easiest way, but a clean way would be to contact the original owner and talk to him.

    just my 2 cent

    Default Only mic is disabled

Here's the deal. I was tasked with seeing if I could get a friend's iPhone working. She got it from another who claimed the only way he could be heard on phone calls was through speaker phone.

I verified this. When making a call in normal phone mode, the third party could be heard but they could not hear the speaker unless the iPhone was in speaker phone mode (or on a bluetooth headset).

The phone had been unlocked etc with Ziphone.

I restored it to 1.1.4 with iTunes and stopped before registration. In emergency mode, I could successfully make a call without using speaker phone. Ran Ziphone 3.0 and everything was successful except the same symptom returned...can only be heard on speaker phone.

I restored it again in iTunes and this time used iLiberty. Same results

Not sure what else could be a factor here. Anybody else seen or heard of this type of problem. Everything else seems to work fine except for that. I've verified the phone doesn't think a headset is attached.

    What else can I try?
