ZiPhone 2.1 issues. Confirm?
Hello to all,
I have tried using ZiPhone 2.1 to jailbreak and activate two different phones, both on a Mac and PC.
Everything goes through just fine, but then when Springboard resets (installing a 3rd party app, rebooting the phone), the phone displays the loading circle REPEATEDLY!
Is anyone else having this issue? Know of a way to correct?
Sadly, this has been my necessary process for downgrading 4.6 BL phones and unlocking the 04_03.13 baseband:
Using ZiPhone 2.1, ziphone -a -j
ziphone -b
(Here is the section where you SHOULD be done, but ziphone causes springboard to hang on load repeatedly).
Restore to 1.1.3
Using ZiPhone 1.0, ziphone -a -j
Shouldnt have to do this. Any thoughts? (By the way, its not the bootloader downgrade causing the issue; it does it JUST on the jailbreaking procedure).

I'm having this same issue with 2.1 as well... tried on a brand new OTB 1.1.3 and it won't boot at all now... I will see how I can fix this.

did ziphone found your iphone.......... well, i used 2.0 yesterday with -v option on my 16G and it worked perfectly.....go to iclarified and copy the 2.0 zip file.... use that with -v option and you should be fine.....
mind you i did the cmd prompt..... i prefer that to the gui cuz gui might be causing other problem....

Well I just ran it again with 2.0 after a restore. ZiPhone 2.0 does NOT have this issue.. I suggest sticking with 2.0 and using the -v option until further notice.
Get ZiPhone 2.0 here: http://george.zjlotto.com/

It's probably a BL4.6 problem.

See other thread... this seems to be related to deleting the Zibree icon (which is the first thing I did)...
