My friend gave me a 16gb iphone otb 1.1.4 that he unlocked with ziphone and i found out that this phone was giving me "no service". I tried erasing baseband, then restoring to 1.1.4 with itunes and then using iplus2.0b to unlock it but still no signal. I then tried bootneuter with the following options:

Bootloader 4.6
Neuter ON
FakeBlank OFF
Unlock ON

But still no signal. Can someone pls help me out and tell me what to do....

İn some countries if your phone comes from a foreign country, you should register your imei number .
Try chancing the İMEİ number with ZİPHONE.İf you get service after changing ,you have to register your İMEİ to able to use this phone.

I've tried finding a solution to the no service issue since this morning about everywhere on the net.

It's the first time I read about trying to manually force my IMEI.

Changing your IMEI might be illegal in your country, you should register it.

Or maybe your phone's IMEI is in the Carrier Black list (stolen/lost phones)

now now let's not scare him shitless but yes Xian does have a point, in other words you had better keep it on the low. Also I would be weary of a friend who dosnt research how to properly unlock the phone as the no service could be a side effect of ziphone. Another thing you could have tried (I don't know what you tried as I don't see a list of things) is pawnge or possibly brick tool

Yes, i tried bootneuter too, dont know what the problem is?

the only thing i could think of to try right now is to set bootnuter to 3.9fb and flash 1.1.1 to go to 3.8bl and the use bootnuter to go back to either 3.9bl or 4.6bl
