I unlocked my v1.1.2 otb with ziphone...evreything fine except that when i click on youtube it says "cannot connect to youtube" . Im this close to unlocking phone with everything working fine except that youtube is not working....pls help

Yes, this is a BIG problem that a lot of people are having... I've tried every YouTube fix I can find and even different Jailbreaking paths and nothing seems to work!

There are other posts already standing regarding this, but as yet, no fix

Can you explain what you mean... ?

I activated officially through itunes. (1.1.3, 4_3-13G)
Then jailbreaked with ziphone.

Used the patched lockdownd what ziphone provides to replace the original lockdownd. Youtube is back into action.

probably related to activation files I think so.

I used iJialbreak (since I'm on a Mac), NOT the "official" ZiPhone GUI... Is there any other way to get the patched lockdownd file & upload it to my phone? Is it the same lockdownd that was used for the soft 1.1.3 jailbreak (because I think I still have that one floating around)?

Just using the patched lockdownd didnt help me. First time I did activate and jailbreaked with Ziphone. Phone got activated but no Youtube. I copied the lockdownd ( I assume this is patched by Ziphone).

next I restored back and did official activation. jailbreaked with ziphone. I could have stayed back like that but itunes is not happy when sims are changed. So I used the previous lockdownd and copied back. No itunes is happy doesnt complain about different sims.

Its not the lockdownd but activation files that are responsible. may be Brausco can help.

Did you try the i.unlock.no YouTube fix? It worked for me.

Also, ZiPhone 2.1 is out... maybe try again with the latest one?
