well this is the thing i have an iphone that was 1.0.2 y decided to updated to 1.1.1 when i finished updateing and all of that, i used anysim to unlock my iphone and when it finished it said anysim cannot unlock this iphone...
so then i decided to do all the process once more, but nothing and now when i restor it it dosent accept nither my sim nor the at&t one, and whe i connect it to itunes it says, your iphone has been damaged go to a retail store.

and now what should i do?

did you virginize it first? do you know what unlock method was used to unlock the 1.02 firmware???

in case you dont know or if was unlocked with iunlock or older anysim versions (prior to anysim 1.1) then you have to make a long process called "virginize" that will allow to properly update your iphone to 1.1.1... probably thats why is not working...

check your imei in settings > general > about (with the imei on the back of your iphone) if the phone on the back dont match the imei on the screen you have to virginize...

im in the same way as you!!1 mine also was 1.0.2 unlocked, followed sasshas guide to revirginize and upgrade but failed and my iphone turned into an ipod touch, i tried every guide i could find but none seems to work, i cant fix my IMEI!! its always the f"$%&g 0049... , i also dont have the at&t sim so i use mine, im starting to lose hope , im desperate.!
