XLOCK Status Query
Hi all. Am a newbie to the site but have been following it closely over the last few weeks.
I own a 1.0.2 unlocked iphone and being the nosey person that I am I decided to play about with minicom to see what my simlock status is. So I issued the "AT+XSIMSTATE=1" command and this is the response I got:
+XSIM: 1
+XLOCK:
OK
Now from reading things shouldn't I be getting "+XLOCK: "PN", (4 or 5 depending on unlocking method)"
Anybody got any thoughts?

Well the phone is unlocked so has the BSD subsys and SSH installed. So simply ssh'd to the phone over WiFi using my Macbook Pro, unloaded commcenter and ran minicom. Opened the port to the baseband and got what I posted before!

The +XSIM: 1 is odd, as this should usually be either 0 (no SIM inserted) or 2 (SIM ready) in most cases. I'm not sure what "1" means, but it could have to do with the invalid unlock token in the seczone left by iUnlock/AnySIM if you've used those tools.
The +XLOCK: will show blank unless you've actually inserted a SIM card, so make sure your SIM card is actually in the iPhone. You may also want to try removing and reinserting it, and/or restarting the phone.
In fact, if you insert the SIM card while Minicom is running, it should pop up the +XLOCK status right away without having to issue the +XSIMSTATE command.

Well I can confirm that I am definitely getting the results I posted....I used iUnlock to perform the unlock.
The SIM is definitely in properly....otherwise when the CommCenter is running I wouldn't be able to make any calls. Removing the SIM whilst minicom is running does automatically bring up the XLOCK status but still it doesn't have any status codes after it!
I am the only one experiencing this? I'm in the UK on T-Mobile if that's gonna make a difference??

Hi,
put off the pin of your sim-card and you will get the proper status
