Just get your hands on a 1.0.2 version of YouTube, upload to your 1.1.1 iPhone, set its permissions to 0755, then run PACAY's fix. Done, takes 2 minutes. And yes I tried it and it works. Any other guides I have found on this site to fix it were WAYYYYY to complicated for me.

If you use Independence 1.2.3 to activate 1.1.1, YouTube will also be enabled
(however, you need to do a special downgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2 then update to 1.1.1 first).

Using a Mac and Independence 1.2.3, and AnySim 1.2, the whole unlock process for a new out of box 1.1.1. set can be completed in about 40 mins

edit: I ran the above on 3 sets, 1 got youtube activated, but 2 didn't, wonder what gives.
