No it does not clean up geohots unlock for 1.1.2 otb iphones. I have an unlocked 1.1.2 otb iphone and restored it to 1.1.1 and updated to 1.1.2 jailbreaked and the phone remained unlocked.

surely if you upgrade to 1.1.3 using itunes, then downgrade to 1.1.1, the unlock goes away? otherwise why are people saying not to update to 1.1.3 using itunes?

Your Unlocks will not go away as long as you have unlocked using
the using ipsf clone for 3.9 or new 1.1.2 otb or 1.1.3 otb method for 4.6bl which are kind of ipsf clones just that they dont touch the seczone. So using these methods should make sure that upgrading downgrading the baseband wont loose the unlock,
this is AFAIK someone pls correct me if I'm wrong!

not true, with the 1.1.2 otb and 1.1.3 otb geo method you must stick at the 04.2.13 baseband. there is no way to get firmware 1.1.3 and baseband 04.03.13 unlocked. just with old bootloader and IPSF geo method.
week 49 1.1.2 OTB Iphone
- after HW Unlock with 3.9 Bootloader @ 1.1.4 with IPSF Unlock

lol sorry but what is the seczone?:p

so if I completely restore to 112 will it still be there or will it be left in OTB locked state?

"The third minor concern was the full range check of 1.1.3. So use 1.1.2
This allows full unsigned code execution, it is a relatively simple matter of patching the bootloader to skip the range check. And while you are at it, patch the bootloader to validate all tokens. IPSF style unlock w/o touching the seczone."
this is from geo's blog, from this I understand this unlock is using bb from 1.1.2 only bcoz of full range check, I'll upgrade my bb today to a 4.3.13 and report what happens but I expect the unlock should remain.
Also I had ran AT+XSIMSTATE=1 yesterday after the unlock and the result was 5,0 ie. unlocked and not lockable!

Reason: AT+XSIMSTATE Result added
