Has everyone updated their airport software. I just did and it fixed my iphone wifi!

I believe your problem was of a different one. You see, when you click the option in Ziphone to erase the 3.9 baseband, your phone restarts with a "Repair needed", as well as the wifi being shaded your phone with no IMEI number.

To fix this, i did this. First after doing the 3.9 baseband erase, which left me with the wfii problem, i clicked refurbish. This will fix your wifi, leave your phone reset perfectly back to factory settings (which means removing any unlocks you may have done), as well as leave you in DFU mode ready to downgrade or upgrade to any version. Try it. (Then go to itunes and just hit restore, updating you clean to 1.1.4.

Then i simply did the iplus 1.02b tutorial on iclarified w international payload, and let me tell you, my phone is running better than ever. Please feed back if this worked for you as well!

im very sad telling this but the problem Osval have is the same i do have and reading the post i think about the overheating thing so i put my iphone into the air conditioner when it was pretty cold i turn on the wifi and worked as good as new take it out and worked on the table crash again put it on the air again and worked fine again so i can only think it is overheated and thats why it reboot the phone any one try this and tell what do u get

Yes, it's true: the intermittent wifi issue, as well as the constantly iphone rebooting issue has to do with thermal paste or something.
I put my iPhone in the fridge for 10 minutes and had a strong wifi for 10 or so minutes.
It is clearly a hardware related issue since every firmware presents the very same problem on my phone.
The question then is: how can we fix this hardware issue without asking Apple to replace our defective phones (since we're not in a supported country)?
Any ideas are welcomed.

can anyone give me some instructions on how to test this temperature issue and how to fix it?
i have no electronic experience whatsoever but I'm willing to open my phone and try to fix this.

Hey this seems to be the serious problem faced,since we are not able to download anything...Can anyone there could solve this issue,im fedup trying to restore with all the versions available still wifi does not work.

Tried unlocking by iplus2.0b as well as Ziphone 2.5 still the same state of wifi.

what i did is restore with the iplus that installs the bsd subsystem then put the phone in the fridge for 10 min and then use the wifi to install any patch u need with the fridge thing u will be able to use the wifi for few minutes at this moment theres no permanent solution for this

Does anybody know if there's a software we can install via installer.app that can help us reduce the temperature on our phones?
Unfortunately, it's not only a wifi temperature issue since just turning wifi on produces constant reboots.
