Since this is my first post you'll probably think I didn't do any research. I did actually, a lot..

Let me explain my problem..
I have an iPhone 1st gen.. first time I ever hacked it was with http://iphone.unlock.no/ (At that time I didn't know hackint0sh unfortunatly )
Then that website joined 'forces' with zIphone.. so when I upgraded to 1.1.4 I unlocked it again with zIphone.. a couple of times.. (At that time I didn't know ziphone sucked so badly and broke your iphone)

Then one day, my phone started freezing, slide to unlock didn't work etc. Reboot was not helping.. restoring, hacking again etc. Nothing helped the phone to stop freezing instantly at boot..

Then I stumbled upon ibooter, I used ibooter to set the wifiaddr to a normal Ip, that boosted my iPhone back into life.. But without wifi and when somebody calls me the phone does not jump out of sleepmode

I've tried setting back the wifiaddr with ibooter a couple of times but then the phone froze again.. so the only way to get my iphone working WITHOUT wifi is to set the wifi addr to a non mac address..

Now i've upgraded to 2.0 and still the problem isn't fixed.. (probably because my wifiaddr is still set to 192.168.1.1).. Does anybody have a solution for my problem? And does ibooter still work with 2.0? because I can't seem to connect anymore..

try a dfu restore to 1.1.4 and also check "dev team wifi fix" wich if im not mistaken is the swifi fix which has been known to fix grey wifi caused by zoroniphone
after a dfu restore use iliberty to jailbreak activate installer bootneuter and wifi fix

use bootneuter to unlock

I could restore to 1.1.4 probably, will be a bit nasty because im on 2.0 now but its possible.. but then.. how do I get the swifi fix on there and bootneuter? Since I have no wifi, I cannot scp to it.. any ideas?

anybody knows how to get ibooter to talk to 2.0 btw? If i put 2.0 in restore mode (holding home button, then connect the cable) and run ibooter, ibooter says it cannot find the phone

you can get bootneuter an d swifi using iLiberty



they might not be available under "local" so in that case you can download them from"available from repo"

hey i have the same problem but i haven't gone up to 2.0 yet. i dont have wifi and most of the time when calls come thru it wont come out of sleep mode...
now i tried the dev team's wifi fix but i just says nothing to fix. i know that this post isnt for that but if i could bring my phone back to life and not be afraid of rebooting and wondering if its going to open back up than i would greatly appreciate it! life without wifi and decent batt. life is lame!

i have the same problem, so i can tell you its not fixed on 2.0. its not due to the ip address where your mac should be. iBooter currently dosent work on 2.0 cause apple have broken it :-(
