Thanks for looking into it anyway !
And if you come up with a tool to put your tables in my phone to test, I am ready to test it !
Unable to see any APs
I have a similar issue, in that I can't find any APs from my 8G iPhone.
1.1.4 using either Baseband 3.9 or 4.6, have tried swifi fix (by the way, payload doesn't appear in new 1.3 version, I had to use 1.2...) but said "nothing to fix"
radio nvram in ibooter reports correct MACs for all 3 radio sets, and CRC and build info are there too.
Phone was unlocked and jailbroken using iLiberty (PC) from a 1.1.4 restore.
Not greyed out, just never ever finds AP - hardware error?
Can access EDGE fine, but just never sees any access points. Driving me crazy, my friend's iphone works on this router (WRT-54G, old version) fine and there's 2 other SSIDs around here that show up for him but not for me.
Any suggestions? Can't find anyone having a similar issue, they either have AP but no IP or greyed out WiFi. Have tried all 8 suggestions from the other thread too, resetting network settings etc, and have restored and re-jailboken too.
PS how do I backspace in term-vt100?
I had the same problem and I solved it one month ago using this procedure:
. Upgrade to 1.1.4,
. Restore to 1.1.2,
. Restore to 1.1.1,
. Upgrade to 1.1.4 again,
. iLiberty activate, jailbreak, unlock. DO NOT USE ZIPHONE.
I had 'bouncing' wifi problems, poor signal, 'unable to join' problem, reboots, etc and after that my wifi is working fine.
I know it sounds like a 'magical solution based on nothing', but it worked for me. I posted my experience here: "http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=36006&page=2"
Trying the 1.1.4 > 1.1.2 > 1.1.1 > 1.1.4 trick now, because I've run out of other things to try
Edit: Nope, still fecked. Gnnnnnnnngh.
Suspect I have a faulty WiFi chip, seeing how it's never worked. Back to the shop it goes...

If it's the bbupdater part of that which ended up unjamming you, I suggest someone try this:

- run bbupdater on those 3 sets of files in this order (you'll have to do this from Term-VT100 with commcenter unloaded):
- bbupdater -f ICE04.01.13_G.fls -e ICE04.01.13_G.eep
- bbupdater -f ICE04.02.13_G.fls -e ICE04.02.13_G.eep
- bbupdater -f ICE04.04.05_G.fls -e ICE04.04.05_G.eep
Doing it trought the vterminal seems too hard for me so I'm going to do it from ILiberty, hope it's the same.
I will post later how it is gone.
Yeah I would put it all into a single script to make it easier
It didn't work for me.
I used ILiberty to reflash baseband to 04.01.13 than to 04.02.13 and back to
04.04.05, the last time (to 04.05) the phone got stuk so I had to force it off and
repristinate it to 1.1.4 with Itunes. If it's possible it looks more buggy than before
MuscleNerd, Osval told me that after He used bootneteur to go to 4.6fb seems he
solved his problem.
You could check his table to see if there is anything particular
