I dont get it. I have three Intel Macs here, all with developer tools installed and all have the directory where the libraries go to. So you are saying when you start the programm terminal (in Applications/Utilities) on the Mac and type
    cd /usr/local/lib/
    you get an error?

    Hi Volkspost,

Sorry, I had not recently posted because of the lack of cooperation of family members with their computers. However, next week I should have a computer to work on the iPhone.

    Kind regards,

    igmolinav.

    Hi Volkspost,

I tried it one more time and my Wi-Fi Address is still N/A. It used to have another wi-fi address. May be now with just N/A, it is just better than the
other one. However, it would be cool to have a Wi-Fi address.

Below I have a copy of the try out I did.

Please let me know what you think. Thank you very much,

    igmolinav.

It still does not work cause the directory is not there!

    Dear Volkspost,

How are you ?? I hope fine : ) !!! I don't if what I am about to tell you can help our case. I am in the United States. The iPhone that we have been dealing with was bought here. Yesterday, I was to an Apple store and the man who I spoke to said that the iPhone may be replaced if they found it was a hardware problem. What do you think, should I give it a shot and try to work out with them having the iPhone replaced ???
The only thing I have to do is restore the iPhone and go with a chip from AT&T that is the "official" iPhone cell phone provider. (I thnk in Germany the official provider is T-Mobile).

In advance I thank you for your advice, kind regards,

    igmolinav

Well check the forum. There are many threads dealing with the issue of returning the iPhone. I really dont know, I never did this.

    Dear Volkspost,

They replaced the iPhone. Thank you very much for all your help : ) !!!

Now, I am going to pwn it. My version now is 2.1

I'll try to use the Pwnage tool to pwn the phone. I don't know if
iLiberty has a good enough updated version.

    Kind regards,

    Ignacio.

    Hi Ignacio,
glad to hear you got a replacement. It's a first generation iPhone, not a 3g, right?
iLiberty is not working on firmware 2 and later, so you have to use Pwnage Tool or Quickpwn.
If you use quickpwn on a Mac you have to unlock the iPhone after pwning it, check here
    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=55204

It's pretty easy, just go for it.
