Why is jailbreak 1.1.2 not working for me?
On my 1.1.1, 04.01.13 phone, which I upgraded to 1.1.2 (octoprep installed of course), I can't get it jailbroken with jailbreak 1.1.2
It goes through the whole process of reading/patching/flashing alright and ends with "all done", but after booting new, nothing happens. I've done this many times now, also on different computers.
Does it have to do with the fact that my phone might originally have been a 1.0.2 version? I'm don't know if it was that...
Very grateful for any hints!

MORE details please.
What OS are you using for jailbreaking? Do you have the latest Java installed (Windows)? What do you expect to happen after the jailbreak? Are you using the LATEST Java jailbreak utility which also includes activation? What SIM card is inside the iPhone when you perform the jailbreak? Have you done the first reboot (as requested by the utility) and did the iPhone after the first manual reboot, reboot automatically a second time?
MORE details, guys. Otherwise nobody can help.

I've been trying this under Windows XP and Vista. Latest Java installed.
I'm not certain if it was the latest Jailbreak utility I was using, but I have used that same one of jailbreak and activate another phone before. Grateful for a hint where I can find it.
I had my own SIM card in it. I did the first reboot myself, but the phone did NOT automatically reboot another time.
Thanks for your help!
EDIT: Found the link to newest jailbreak. Trying it out now. I think that's the one I had though.

Also, what happens quite often is at the end, when jailbreak should finish with the "all done" message, it never gets there, but hangs at "314572800/314572800". Only after repeating it for a number of times can I get the "all done" message.
I certainly did an upgrade, not restore.

Alright, case closed. Trying it on a 3rd computer made it all work.
Thanks for the help.

I can't sure, it seems that you need to run the OktoPrep need to run to create a TouchFree iPhone.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I can't run it again now.
