will this firmware do as a upgrade?
as i no it is a restore, will it up grade with it ok, do you have to remane it or anything??

No you don't rename it, you just point to it (on your PC) while in itunes to restore or upgrade.

so the same file will do both jobs then?

to up grade i dont put in in restore mode?

Yes, you use the same file for either an upgrade or restore.
