What happened with the sticky donations thread (french nude iphone)

What happened with the sticky thread (yesterday) that asked for donations to buy an OTB French unlocked iPhone for the DEV team in order to investigate or reverse the method used by Apple? I made a donation and would like to be kept informed.

So can anybody just realize a sticky thread here and ask for money? I would think that requires moderator action or what?

His name was skr3dii . Twice his threads disappeared. The best that I can determine is that he is/was a moderator on the forum, but not a member of the Dev Team (He said so.)

He sure will buy one with your money guys... the thread was so strange that i cant belive you really trusted...

It disapeared allready two days ago when som guys started calling him a fake.. and also yesterday a lot of people said he s a fake and the Dev team already sniffed the french phone....

So i think you lost your money and he has a unlocked phone with your money....

Only question remaining is how could he become a supermod...
