    i bought a new iphone in us and its week 44 firmware 04.02.13_G is it possible to unlock whit software methods?

    did the phone come with 1.1.1 firmware, if so yes..

    As it's 04.02.13_G modem FW, nope, tough luck.

    Hardware unlock is possible though.

    Activate and jailbreak it, and use bbupdater to check the bootloader.

    Might not be true, but I heard that some phones that have 1.1.2 also have the 3.9 bootloader.
