    Arrow Week 35 iphone-> refurbish??

    Hi,
I've got a Week 35 iPhone (don't have original boxing). The person I bought it from said it would be an 1.1.2 OOTB iphone. Is this possible with Week 35?
Perhaps it's an refurbish iPhone? (means week 35 BUT like 1.1.2 OOTB??)

I tried everything to unlock it for every SIM-Card.
    Virginize
    Downgrade to 1.1.1 -> Unlock
AnySIM says it worked but still "Incorrect SIM"
Tried to unlock 1.1.2 too, same Problem (anysim 1.2u says it worked but still the error)

If I Downgrade my Baseband it shows Modem Firmware: 04.01.13_G would the Downgrade be possible with 1.1.2 OOTB??

    What else can I do??

    Thank you!

Nothing, just Jailbreak and use as ipod or buy a TurboSim.

I mean do you think it's a refurbish?
Does anyone know how I can find out?
But with bootloader 4.6 it IS possible to downgrade the firmware or not?
I actually don't know if I have bootloader 4.6 from beginning!

    Thanks!

If youre baseband number is 04.01.13_G then its a 1.1.1 firmware. So that means that the bootloader is 3.9 and that means that it should be able to unlock.
Check the guides in the forum and search for people that had this error (anySIM worked but then it said incorrect sim)

ok. i got this firmware after BBDowngrade (before it was 04.02.13_G)- and a downgrade would not be possible with bootloader 4.6- so that the bbdowngrade should abort or the firmware shouls still be 04.02.13_G right?

What I actually dont know is:
Is it possible to get a firmware 04.01.13_G by BBDowngreade with an 1.1.2 OOTB iPhone and the Bootloader stays 4.6?? And that's why I can't unlock?

If the bootloader was 4.6(4.06 actually) you wouldn't be able to change the baseband firmware.

In other words, the person you bought it from had a 1.1.1 or previous.
He updated to 1.1.2 and then sold it to you!

If it is a week 35 I doubt it would be in Apple or AT&T stores when they updated all the phones(some people got week 42,43 with 1.1.2 & new baseband or so they claim)

You must be doing something wrong when trying to unlock it.

I mean do you think it's a refurbish?
    *Maybe.

Does anyone know how I can find out?
*İf it is 4.6 in the community there is no guide at the moment.

But with bootloader 4.6 it IS possible to downgrade the firmware or not?
*Yes,you can downgrade the firmware (1.1.2 to 1.1.1 or 1.0.2)or the baseband but you cant downgrade the bootloader version.

I actually don't know if I have bootloader 4.6 from beginning!
    * First you will need to have bbupdater installed in your /usr/bin folder
    - Use the Terminal to login to the iPhone via SSH or Use Mobile Terminal found under Installer > System > Term-vt100
    Enter the following commands:
    Code:
    launchctl remove com.apple.CommCenter
    bbupdater -v
    Code:
    Resetting target...
    pinging the baseband...
    issuing +xgendata...
    firmware: DEV_ICE_MODEM_04.02.13_G
    eep version: EEP_VERSION:208
    eep revision: EEP_REVISION:1
    bootloader: BOOTLOADER_VERSION:4.6_M3S2
    Done
İf the answer like this you have a 4.6 which cannot be unlock at the moment.

    Have a nice day.
