I have the first phones that is week 27... i mistakenly upgraded to 1.1.3 ...


i have read the forums and people were sucessfull to downgrade bl3.9 phones to 1.1.1 or 1.0.2


But in my case its week 27 and BL3.9 i cannot downgrade to any version

i always get the error

"The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error ocurred (1)"

PLease help

make sure its in DFU mode... that error pops up when in recovery mode sometimes.

iam having trouble to put the phone in DFU mode iam holding the power and home screen until it pops up recovery mode error

Is that it i need to do

whats the difference between recovery mode and dfu mode... please let me know the easiest method to put the iphone in DFU mode

Here is the real solution (other than the crap shoot of trying over and over again). It appears that there are 2 restore modes, the one where you see the itunes logo and connector, and another where the screen is black. Turn off your iphone by holding the power button. Once off, hold the power button and home button for exactly 10 seconds (THE SCREEN WILL BE BLACK), then release the power button and continue to hold the home button (THE SCREEN WILL STILL BE BLACK). iTunes will now recognize your phone and the restore will work successfully! Good luck!

finally I fingue out Launch iBrickr 0.91 put your Iphone in recover mode You should be at the Recovery mode detected screen. Click the link that says Boot downgrade to firmware 1.0.2 I tunes will open hit Shift on key board and click restore and select firmware that you want to downgrade
