After deleting created during activation icon (Zibri's Blog) and trying to install ANY programme (like BSD Subsystem from Install) the phone is bricked and you have to go through full DFU + restore again!!!
I checked on 3 different IPhones of mine.
to fix the error,
go to /private/var/mobile/Library/
and execute: chown mobile:wheel WebClips
cheers,

I tried that - it didn't work for me.
As i said in my previous post, I deleted the "zibri's blog" icon, but didn't install any apps after that. I did configure some of my email accounts/etc. I then tried to add a web bookmark to the home page (and safari gave me an error). I then rebooted the iPhone, and found it stuck at the apple logo (with a rotating busy circle).
I put it into restore most/re-ran ziphone 2.1, chose activate+jailbreak. It did its thing (I saw several "file not found" messages scroll by on the lcd), and it rebooted the iphone. It came back stuck at the apple icon + rotating circle busy (plus, it vibrates every couple of seconds).
I'm about to go back to itunes/restore and then re-run ziphone.

this is what mine did also,
Restore to 1.1.3
Then run ZiPhone 2.0 -a -j -v (-b if you have bootloader 4.6)
Should be fine after that

Thanks cRACKn! I'll give this a try after I've restored/re-run ziphone.
Can you tell me (just to confirm), is "chown" OK by itself, or should it be "chown -R"?
I assume after doing the "chown" I can safely delete Zibri's icon, add new icons via safari/installer, etc?
Thanks,

I havent restored. I cant bother reinstalling everything.

Zibri has taken down the links for 2.1 downloads and replaced it with "Debugging in progress".
Hopefully a new release will be out soon.

yep, he is fixing the bug with permissions as i mentioned before..
if you deleted and reboot, recovery is the only way.
if you didnt reboot, just do the chown command and you will be good to go.
after that, you can delete or add icons to home screen again, no more errors

Hey Chown works

I finished my restore, re-ran ziphone 2.1 (activate/jailbreak), installed BSD subsystem + SSH, then did the "chown" command - it works! (I can delete the Zibri Blog icon and still add others, and iphone survives reboot).
Thanks again, cRACKn!
