Visual Voicemail problem on jailbroken O2 handset
I have a UK iPhone and O2 iPhone contract and have Jailbroken it for extra apps + development purposes. I have copied back the O2 plist file which gave me back EDGE and removed the EDGE settings menu but I cannot get Visual Voicemail to work. Whenever I select it the phone dials the regular O2 voicemail access service.
Has anyone got a Jailbroken UK iPhone with working VV and if so how did you achieve this?
Thanks
Mark

Visual Voicemail is now working for me. One of two possibilities that may have fixed it. I deleted the contents of /var/root/Library/Voicemail/ (backing up first of course) and midnight passed. The two files here were re-created but the plist had a different value. Its single item was 5 before and 1 after. Also it was midnight, within a few seconds when VV sprung into life. This just happened to be the time I rebooted after the above delete. So either deleting the files fixed it or something reset, most likely at O2, at midnight.

I just can't get the visual voice mail screen to launch since Jailbreaking (O2 1.1.2) all I get is the icon illuminating. Any ideas?

Amazingly Knowledgeable

You need to do a FULL SETTINGS RESET (NOT including content!) in the SETTINGS menue and you're done, no need to delete anything. The iPhone restarts and adapts the settings to the (supported) carrier of the SIM card inside the SIM tray.
