When I try to restore my virginized 1.0.2 in itunes I get an err saying "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1)."

here is what the log say:

[libusbrestore: 0xC8C, 13:29:28.609] => Unsupported device in recovery mode: product id: 0x1280 release number: 0x1100
[libusbrestore: 0xC8C, 13:29:28.640] => No suitable device tree found


Any suggestions would be very welcome?

Update: I can restore to 1.0.2 but not to 1.1.1 ?
what am I missing here, all the turorials I can find say the same thing!

Put the phone in restore mode, and shift click restore in itunes to load the 1.1.1 firmware....

Anyone?

Shift clicking to update gives the same error as when using restore??

What am I missing here, what do I need to do before I can upgrade a 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 ???

Update: Solved the problem by using a mac to do the restore, might be because the mac had a slightly newer version of itunes, or it might just be because it was a mac .. but it worked!

Hope someone finds this usefull, I know I did .. LOL
