[Virginize][Solved] Baseband erased
I was trying to fix the iPhone of a friend of mine and during the Virginizer procedure (the one from the i.unlock.no source) something went wrong. Now the phone has a corrupted baseband and it's currently on 1.1.1 can I get a new one somewhere?

Restore to 1.1.1, and if it doesn't work, upgrade to 1.1.2.

Done. And no success. I still get the error saying the phone cannot make or receive calls.
I'll try to upgrade to 1.1.2 and then downgrade again. I need a new baseband basically.

Dude I fixed it already lol!
Do as I did: using iTunes upgrade to the latest version. Then do a downgrade to 1.1.1 and use the *#307# trick to activate/jaibreak it.
My phone is back to life now!!

1.1.1 !
I did a restore to 1.1.1 then installed BSD Subsystem and added http://i.unlock.no to my sources. Then installed the Baseband Downgrader and launched it. Then did a restore to 1.1.1 and used the *#307# trick to jailbreakit. Then repeated the steps above and did a Virginize. Then did another restore to 1.1.1 and then finally after insalling Oktoprep managed to upgrade to 1.1.2

This guide is fot ALL OF YOU who messed up their phones and basebands and don't know what to do to revive them. I tested it personally and works 100%
It is very important that you do this or you'll find yourself trapped in a loop of upgrading and downgrading (it happened to me...)..
Follow these steps carefully:
1) Do an Update to 1.1.2 in order to get a fresh and clean Baseband
2) Now do a Downgrade to 1.1.1
3) Jailbreak your phone doing the *#307# trick
4) Go into Installer and from the System folder install the BSD Subsystem
5) Add http://i.unlock.no to your sources
6) Go batk to the application list and look out for the Unlocking Tools folder.
7) Choose the Baseband downgrade application, launch it and wait.
8) WITHOUT RESTORING YOUR PHONE (here is where I got stuck for 3 times in a raw) inside the same Unlocking Tools folder launch The Virginizer
9) Once The Virginizer has finished to a restore to 1.1.1
10) Now you have a fresh 1.1.1 phone and you're ready to upgrade to 1.1.2
