    Hi npouya

Well I haven't done any Virginizer but I would recommend to put the AT&T sim card the whole process until you use anysim again

I don't see how. If you've done as 1st thing an update (through iTunes) to the latest firmware available (1.1.2) you get a clean baseband and wipe away all the dirt you could have done before... What error do you get?

No errors. In the end IMEI is still 0049...

The corrupt IMEI is how Apple bricked the phone. I guess when applying 1.1.2, they are detecting bricks and not rewriting the baseband completely.

I had the same problem, some guy messed up my friends phone and i tried everything to fix it, updating to 1.1.2 with 7.5 itunes, 7.4 i tunes 7.4.2 always got an error in the end and still showed the Repair needed message, and when trying to fix the baseband in 1.0.2 with ieraser it always stopped at "waiting for data".

I've almost given up, and it seems like there are some people on these forums in the same situation.

From what I have seen there are hundreds of people with the bad IMEI problem who don't have a backup of the seczone. The question is without the seczone will the phones ever be repairable.
