Default Virginize 1.1.1 Unlocked to 1.0.2

I have a 1.1.1 unlocked iPhone with the 4.xxx modem.

My question is can we use the reverginizer method of 1.0.2 to reverginize & then update it to 1.1.1 again.

    Reason to do this.
I had got 1.1.1 OTB then downgraded it & unlocked it. later I restored it to 1.1.1 & now using 1.1.1.

    Thanks in advance

If you are at 1.1.1 and are still unlocked, there is absolutely no need to revirginize. Your seczone is consistent, and you never ran anySIM 1.0.x (or if you did, you already revirginized).

    Hi,

Sorry if I can understand. I'm currently have a 1.0.2 > Virginize > 1.1.1 > AnySim 1.1 unlocked iPhone. My iPhone work fine.

But I have in my head a question concerning a problem do I have before using AnySim 1.1 to unlock my 1.1.1

When I upgrade to 1.1.1. I purchased IPSF. I'm trying to unlock, but I keep getting the same error: "Unlock failed. Error in server communications."
So after try more than 20 times to unlock my iPhone with IPFS and write to IPFS company without any answer to my problem. I unlock it with AnySim 1.1 I get the unlock success in less than 5 min.

Some peoples tell me that Before using IPSF, you would need to reflash the baseband to its original firmware.

When I virginize my iPhone I use the Sassha guide to do it. So I can't understand what is the reflash the baseband? where in this forum I can find instruction to do it? Can I go back to 1.0.2 and reflash my baseband?

Thank a lot for any help.

*Solution* iPhoneSimFree “Error in server communication”

For people who had the problem above, you may need to try the method below..

    1) Downgrade your iPhone baseband to 3.14.x

    2) Downgrade your firmware to 1.0.2

    3) Jailbreak it with iBrickr or wiNinstaller (iNdependence 1.3b2 for Mac)

    4) Install AppInstaller from iBrickr and update it.

    5) Install BSD System from AppInstaller .

    6) Install AnySIM 1.0.2 from iBrickr. (not the AnySIM 1.1.1)

    7) Run AnySIM 1.0.2 to unlock your phone.

Once it successfully unlocked, install IPSF 1.6rc1 and run it. It should said that your phone had been Unlocked.

    9) Now upgrade it to 1.1.1 and everything will be fine.. Install the 1.1.2 preupgrade thing and upgrade it to 1.1.2. Use the 1.1.2 jailbreak method to jailbreak it and your phone will be automatically unlocked if your phone is unlock with IPSF previously.

    Thank you ccontrerasg,

But is too late for me I'm now on 1.1.2 iPhone unlocked with AnySim 1.2u.
Is available a way to virginize that iPhone and unlock it with iPhoneSimFree?
Another question is Downgrade your iPhone baseband to 3.14.x ?

    ups...
easy, I use IPSF and I downgrade - update and restore many times without losing IPSF.

It is not necessary but ...

How to "Virginize" if you already upgraded and have 04.01.13_G.
You would want to do this if you upgraded to 1.1.1, and now have 0049xxx IMEI, and Modem version 04.01.13_G. Check this in Settings → General → About.

Set Settings → General → Auto Lock → Never
Install BSD SubSystem found in System Category.
Go to Sources and tap edit and add http://i.unlock.no/ (if you haven't already).
Now install "Virginize 04.x" found in Unlocking Tools category. This will take almost 10 minutes.
When done, restore your phone to get 1.1.1 firmware reinstalled.
When phone have been restored, you can Activate and unlock as normal.

    How do i downgrade a 1.1.2 phone.
At the moment this is NOT possible if your phone already had 1.1.2 when you bought it. If you accidentally upgraded your phone to 1.1.2 and want to go back to 1.0.2 or 1.1.1, read on.

You will need to downgrade both the main firmware and the baseband firmware:

    Downgrade the main firmware:
Connect the phone to the computer and launch iTunes.
Restore your phone like explained in details here.
You will get an error when restore is complete, just ignore it and run AppTapInstaller.exe (to Mac users: Not tested by me, but iNdependence should do the same. Please give me feedback on that: unlock æ unlock.no).
AppTapInstaller.exe will fail, but your phone will get to the Activation Screen now!
When on the activation screen, just follow my tutorial to jailbreak and bypass activation
Now your phone main firmware is ok, but you should also downgrade your baseband firmware.

    Downgrade the baseband firmware:

Make sure Modem version is 04.02.13_G in Settings → General → About.
Set Settings → General → Auto Lock → Never
Start Installer and install BSD SubSystem found in System Category.
Go to Sources and tap edit and add http://i.unlock.no/
Now install "BB Downgrader (1.1.2)" found in Unlocking Tools category. This will take around 5 minutes.
When done, restore your phone to get 1.1.1 firmware reinstalled.
When phone have been restored, you can Activate and unlock as normal.

    Hi ccontrerasg,

Thank you again for your answer. But I dont understand. Please can you help me?
As I told you before I have currently a iPhone 1.1.2 unlocked with AnySim 1.2u and all features are working fine.

and I actualize my telephone of the following way 1.0.2 > Virginized > 1.1.1 > 1.1.2 And in all the upgrades unlock I use AnySim due that when I get the 1.1.1 upgrade I try to use IPSF but is impossible due the “Error in server communication”.

Now my question is, (please remember that I'm now on unlocked 1.1.2 ) How I want to go back to revert the unlock AnySim 1.2u and use the IPSF to unlock again my phone.

Is this possible? and can you tell me step by step how? and tell me if you try that method on a iPhone?

Thank you again and I apologize for my bad engish.

Si.

    Pasos a Seguir
