    AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000"
    ERROR
    AT+CLCK="PN",2
    +CLCK: 0

    Seems like it is unlocked.

    AT+XSIMSTATE=1
    +XSIM: 0

    +XLOCK: "PN",4,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0

    OK

Still seems like it is unlocked.

The unit dont recognise any SIM card and hasnīt showed ICCID anytime.

    In /var/root/Lockdown I have:
    data_ark.plist
    device_private_key.pem
    device_public_key.pem
    pair_records

    Should I have more files?

Any ideas? Is this Apples new way of stopping us unlocking our phones?
    roope,

At last chance, take a look at the phisicall holder of the sim, i have another iphone with no sim, they do no detected the sim, i know this is not the normal, but, check that the gold pins in the sim holder are ok. i don't kwow if you can do it without open it but .... look there are 6 pins..

based on what I'm seeing, the 3 after PN would indicate that the unlock attempt limit has been reached. Not good for me at all.
Seams that all of incorrect sim we have a 3 in this position not so good.

here is the output from the good unlocked iphone

    AT+XSIMSTATE=1
    +XSIM: 2

    +XLOCK: "PN",4,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0

    OK
seams that the 4, indicates that is unlocked, all the iphones with the 3, are locked. no way.

Maybe if the people that made the unlock application that you need to pay has another approximation to the unlock, we can resolv it.

I will spend today trying to buy a license and test it.

The message above from me was with the AT&T SIM

I put in my wanted SIM card from (prepaid) O2 LOOP and got these values:

    AT+XSIMSTATE=1
    +XSIM: 2

    +XLOCK: "PN",3,4,"PU",5,4,"PP",5,4,"PC",5,4,"PS",5,4

    OK

They changed with changing the SIM card.
    Any explication?

I put a different sim card from t-mob and I got

    Welcome to minicom 2.2

    OPTIONS:
    Compiled on Jul 21 2007, 05:09:51.
    Port /dev/tty.baseband

Press CTRL-A Z for help on special keys

    AT S7=45 S0=0 L1 V1 X4 &c1 E1 Q0
    OK
    AT+XSIMSTATE=1
    +XSIM: 2

    +XLOCK: "PN",3,4,"PU",5,4,"PP",5,4,"PC",5,4,"PS",5,4

    OK

    x2=> 4 mean invalid sim

but i did not run the unlock after I restore. Let unlock again and since I know its going to fail to unlock, but it worth doing the XSSIMSTATE after that.

    I will post

    Regards,
    Tandali

    Here is the result.

    Right after I flashed

    bbupdater -f *.fls -e *.eep

I run XSIMSTATE and there is no SIM. I got

    Welcome to minicom 2.2

    OPTIONS:

    Port /dev/tty.baseband

Press CTRL-A Z for help on special keys

    AT S7=45 S0=0 L1 V1 X4 &c1 E1 Q0
    OK
    AT+XSIMSTATE=1
    +XSIM: 0

    +XLOCK:

    OK
    then I unlock

    and tested again

    here is the result.

    95%
    Done
    Sending End Secpack command
    Validating the write command
    FW are equal!
    Resetting baseband
    Unlocking...
    Testing unlock status...
    ==> Still locked
    Restarting Commcenter

    AT+XSIMSTATE=1
    +XSIM: 0

    +XSIM: 2

    +XLOCK: "PN",3,4,"PU",5,4,"PP",5,4,"PC",5,4,"PS",5,4

x2 still=4 invalid sim ( if that what its means)
