Hi need some advice i have just returned home from the states and i have i virgin 1.02 iphone version 03.14.08_G do i upgrade to 1.11 and then unlock the phone or what should i do please help.

I suggest upgrading to 1.1.1 and then unlock with anysim 1.1...less maintenance than having 1.0.2.

oops, i guess using anysim 1.1.1 can keep you at 1.0.2 firmware with 1.1.1 baseband. well, it's up to you, but personally, i had an out of the box 1.0.2 and was starting the unlock, when i had to dial the numbers to get to safari...and then i realized i forgot to upgrade to FW 1.1.1, so i upgraded and started dialing all over again and could immediately tell a difference in volume. so i'd stick with 1.1.1.
