Using an existing O2 SIM card with brand-new UK 1.1.2 iPhone
Hi there. I have just bought an iPhone in the UK (O2 carrier) and see that there isn't currently an unlock available, and it doesn't look like there's going to be one soon!
Is it possible to use my current pay-as-you-go O2 SIM card with the iPhone? Somebody said that all I have to do is activate the phone, then I can put my current SIM card in, but I'm not sure if this is correct.
Has anyone done this?
If not, what are my options for unlocking the phone so I can use any pay-as-you-go SIM card (i.e. so I don't have to sign up for the bloody contract!).
Thanks in advance.
