Default Used Anysim to unlock phone(1.0.2) and have still the right IMEI!!

    Hey.

I have one question. The only thing why the new firmware bricks unlocked iphones is that they have a modified IMEI? So I unlocked my iphone with the newest Anysim, but i dont used the lockdown file, because i only need one sim. When i now look in the menu General -> About i have the same IMEI like on the back of my phone. What does this mean? Is that normal? sorry for my bad english

This means your unlock worked fine, but your still in the same situation as everyone else. The IMEI number only corrupts AFTER the upgrade (and in some other situations...) Do not upgrade till there is a full working solution.

you are right, your IMEI will remain intact until you upgrade to the new modem firmware. This seems to be a problem with the dev team unlocker, so we have to wait for a proper solution from them. For some reason though i have the feeling that iunlock overwrites data that cant be recovered
