I have seen so many different posts about how to upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 and they all seem to be different.

Here is my situation, I had an unlocked 1.0.2 upgraded to 1.1.1 and now thinking of going to 1.1.2 although I was wondering what is the best step by step guide to use that will give me the simplest upgrade to 1.1.2?

I am undecided whether to upgrade yet simply becuase the 1.1.2 doesnt really offer a great upgrade but if I was to upgrade I want to know the simplest and most reliable guide to use from a jailbroken 1.1.1.

1. Use an unlocked and activated 1.1.1 phone
2. Then update it it 1.1.2 via itunes to get the new baseband
3. Now restore it back to 1.1.1.
4. to get it out of itunes restore mode CONNECT TO IBRICKER
new menu will come up and if phone is red it will reboot phone all self
explanitory
5. Activate it and unlock it with anysim 1.2.1u,
get this from installer but add rep.frenchiphone.com and refresh
6. install BSD Subsystem and Oktotprep
7. UPDATE again to 1.1.2.via itunes
8. phone will be in restore mode leave it and now use the jailbreak 1.1.2
windows.bat file
9 when prompted by jailbreak to reboot close itunes and reboot your phone.

10. CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE DONE !!!

DON'T FORGET TO INSTALL IWORLD WHEN FINISHED AND PHONE WILL WORK LIKE A DREAM.

i thought i brickr didnt work on 1.1.1? if so where can I get it cos i searched google and came across it and says doesnt work on 1.1.1?

there is an easier way to do it...... use the search


and yes u must be on airplane mode


basically u need 112 firmware and 112 jailbreak updated zip.

install oktoprep
upgrade in 112
let ur iphone connected to your comp but close itunes
unzip and run window.bat (PC) or jailbreak.rar (mac)
let it process and reboot

then do the anysim stuff as decribed with autolock "never" and airplane "on"

is united kingdom under iworld? I can't find it!
