Upgrade v1.1.2 question. AnySIM --> IPSF?
Hi! I have a iPhone from v.1.0.2 --> Revirginized --> upgraded and unlocked to v1.1.1 via AnySIM. If I want to upgrade to v1.1.2, can I use the IPSF method or I have to stay with the AnySIM method?

why the heck do you want even to consider IPSF....
if you want to upgrade to 1.1.2 - search the forum for this and for how to do it.
you use anySIM 1.1.2u

Because IPSF unlocks rather easily and you don't need to do it more than once. Of course, the new possibility that IPSF may not be reversed is a risk.
I use IPSF while I was waiting for a 1.1.1 unlock and it works pretty well, I haven't had any instability issues and upgrading to 1.1.2 was as easy as upgrading and jailbreaking.
Anyway, there are pros and there are cons.

#1 - IPSF is not free. anySIM is free to use but donation is appreciated for future development.
#2 - IPSF requires you to do more than once if there is a change in baseband. (anySIM the same as well).
#3 - anySIM unlocks just as well and just as fast. It is very stable. It also works for "upgraded" 1.1.2 phone
#4 - No solution for OTB 1.1.2 yet from both camps.
#5 - You get a hell of a lot more support from the user base of anySIM.
I'm not trying to pursuade you. I'm just giving you some of the stuff/fact I know. Of course, you are free to make your own choice and decision. One thing about anySIM is that it is so popular, therefore you get tons of questions from people and sometimes it is just way too much information for newbie to absorb and more confusions.
