Default upgrade to 1.1.3 from 1.1.1 AnySim unlocked

I want to upgrade to 1.1.3 fw (not dev team soft upgrade) from my 1.1.2, 04.02.13 unlocked phone. Initially it was on 1.1.1 with 3.9 bl.

From looking at Zibri's blog I need to restore (not upgrade) to 1.1.3 then run ziphone (v2.3) with following command

    ziphone -a -j
    Can someone confirm this?

    Thanks jsalva.

Does it matter if you use restore or upgrade? I prefer to use the restore to start fresh.

there are some people reposting some issues with upgrade.

I'll recomend a restore, I already did it on several phones and no problems reported

I think restore is much better and causes less problems.Make a fresh start on a new version.

Just a follow up comment on the upgrade process; Here are the steps I followed briefly.

    Download
    *1.1.3 firmware from apple server
    *Ziphone 2.3

1)Put the iphone into DFU mode
2)Plug into USB port, iTunes will recognize and ask for restore. Press Shift (windows) and select the 1.1.3 that you downloaded. Then restore.
3)Close iTunes and run Ziphone with Unlock, Jailbreak and Activate selected, or "ziphone -a -j -u" in command line.

I have a OTB 1.1.1 unlocked with Anysim. And I made a big mistake of upgrading my baseband to 04.03.13_G and running Anysim 1.3 on my phone. Now I have a jailbreaked FW 1.1.1 with Baseband 04.03.13_G with no service. What do I need to do to get to FW1.1.3 unlocked? Do I need to downgrade my baseband and run Anysim1.1 then upgrade to 1.1.2 (and unlock Anysim 1.2) and your steps? Thank you

It's probably academic to upgrade/restore. My rule of thumb is to upgrade, unless you are already having problems, then I would restore. Just make sure you uninstall all apps (including installer).

Lixophone, Thank you for the link. I read that before, but that's for phones with FW1.1.3. I left out the fact that when I upgraded my baseband and used anysim 1.3, I DID NOT upgrade or restored to 1.1.3 (why ? that was the stupid mistake part) So now I have a jailbreaked FW1.1.1 with baseband 04.03.13_G and no service. Can I simply DFU-restore to FW 1.1.3 and run ziphone do it all button? or do I need to downgrade my baseband then run anysim 1.2 then go from there?

    Thanks again
