Update to 1.1.1 question - urgent
I'm using iPhone with AT&T service, but I unlocked my iPhone just for fun. Now when I update to 1.1.1, what ever SIM I put in, iPhone says it's incorrect SIM (even a valid AT&T sim card). Anyone has this problem before? what should I do? retored many time already, seemed won't help.

I think your phone just got bricked. Look for a way to downgrade to 1.0.2, if exists. I didn't try, but it might work. Good luck.

If he was dumb enough to update his legit AT&T iPhone "just for fun" without checking with Google and sites like this before doing that, I suppose he's not bright enough to find the necessary information regarding his "big ass problem" he has now. Have mercy, guys. :p

If upgrade to V1.1.1, the IMEI is 0049xxxx. it was a soft-unlock iphone upgrade ?

Yes it was a soft unlock. But I did a complete restore & update. Not just a simple update. It doesn't recognize my SIM, I downgraded it to 1.0.2 and the same thing still happens. I got the same message as I got from the 1.1.1 FW. What the hell happens here? Do you think ATT will replace my phone?
