If he wants to clear his phone of all the ziphone nuances then it's best to start from scratch with a DFU restore then iplus/iLiberty or pwned it
i dont see the point either but that whats he wants

I want to start with a fresh firmware and baseband because I think there is a little problem with my phone modem (it turns on every few seconds and is draining my battery) plus I dont like Zebra.
I just what to be on a factory state and on 1.1.4
Zebraphone refurb gave greyed wifi, luckily a restore solved it.

I think I have the solution for a fresh baseband and firmware. I need to erase the baseband and do a restore in itunes so that the baseband gets updated too. Will try erasing baseband with iliberty+... or should i?

yes you can, actually you can erase it and reflash it with iliberty, no need to restore with itunes after you erase it.

    I erased my baseband with iliberty+ and restored to 1.1.4 via itunes. Now i'm iliberty+ j a & u.
Im curious, i've always been a fan of installer, should switch to Cydia? can both installer and cydia coexist?
