Unsuccessful jailbreak 1.1.1
I was trying to update my TurboSim iPhone 1.0.2 with virgin baseband to 1.1.1 according to Dev Team Jailbreak 1.1.1 on MAC/Intel
Followed all the steps:
- install of Installer, BSD, OpenSSH
- connect to iTunes, download update 1.1.1
- while staying in iTunes ssh to iPhone and moving the media folder and creating new media link and backuping of lockdown folder
- updating in iTunes pressing update button
- connecting with iPhuc, but with no files or folder after command ls -al
I know that the iPhone is not jailbroken but where I did mistake or miss something
My rights in media library before update looks the same as bellow (which is from Dev guide)
lrwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 1 Oct 10 12:06 Media -> /
drwxr-x--- 7 root wheel 272 Oct 10 10:51 Media.old
Only difference was that Media.old had "3 root wheel" and I also saw folder Library.
I noticed when I connected after the update with iPhuc I got following text:
but in other guides I found that the text was different? AMDeviceStartService 'com.apple.afc':
Can anyone help me, I tried 5 times to update but still with same result on my MAC/Intel. Now of course the baseband is V4 and firmware 1.0.2 but TurboSim is working.
Thanks new iNdependence 1.2.2 I successfully jailbroke and activate the virgin iPhone with TurboSim - no problem at all. Perfect.
