Apple just released a new update to the iPhone firmware. The new version is 1.1.2

It does not look like this version is available to everyone yet. Has any one had any luck updating their iphone? If so:

1. Any successful attempt to downgrade it back to 1.1.1?

2. Any attempt to jailbreak it?

I've tried to get it by no luck yet from my iTunes. I look forward to hearing from you guys.

This is not supose to go out but after november 9.

i saw those pics yesterday.. but this guy said that apple was seeding this new unlock killer...

ok so you mean that except those pics no one had phisically an iphone with a 1.1.2 firmware yet.? at least no one took a screenshot yet.

does it changes the problem? 1.1.2 will be released soon (or is released ) and prolly will correct the TIFF brake?

of course it changes the problem, if apple would seed this already, people could be working on a new solution, and a lot would have a usd400 paperweight again

It looks like it is now confirmed. We need to start figuring out from what stock of iphones this new version ships; whether we can still downgrade a 1.1.2 phone and that should be a good starting point.

Apple has not released it on their server yet I would think. I will certainly be available this week. Let's see the verdict.
