Hey guys,

I bought an iphone today and I unlocked and jailbroke it. I did this tutorial here http://www.modmyifone.com/forums/sho...+edge+settings to try and get my edge to work.

I think it works sort of because I can check my email through the mail app in the iphone but whenever I try to launch Safari or youtube or weather or maps or anything else, they just close automatically, i think they crash. They do NOT crash, however, if I make the APN section blank, it just says that i am not subscribed to edge.

Now, this leads me to believe that the problem lies within the wap.voicestream.com . Does anyone know how to fix this or can anyone offer some solutions on how to fix these annoying crashes? Thank you.

are u using the 19.99 internet plan or 5.99 tzones tmobile web plan?

I am using the t-mobile 6 dollar plan. Has anyone else experienced this kind of crashing before?

it shouldn't have anything to do with whats typed in edge, what firmware are you on?

if it was internet related, it should open the app fine then throw a edge error or something. if its just crashing completly i would prolly start all over to get it back
