I have the same issue.....
I posted the question on the unlock thread but I only received criticism as no one thing to have this as a reported problem.....
I'm glad that I'm not th only one with the low volume after the unlock, but I'm sad because I can't find the explanation for it.
I tried restoring to 1.1.1 and doing the unlock again but I now have problems using TouchFree....It gets to step 2 and finishes asking to reboot to the first time. I reboot the phone and click on TouchFree to continue to step 3 but it quits and jumps directly to a screen that says that the TouchFree was successfully and that I should reboot to get to the springboard but. Rebooting does not open the phone and I get back to square 1.....
Lets see if there is anyone there that can help us.
