    Default Unlocked 1.1.1 >>> Unlocked 1.1.3....Best route?

    Hello all
I've had my 1.1.1 phone working quite happily for a while now, but it seems there's a pretty safe method for updating to 1.1.3. Trouble is all the methods I've read show how to get there from 1.1.2 OTB or higher.

Can someone please advise on a procedure to get me from where I am to 1.1.3 unlocked? Do I need to use Oktoprep to get me to 1.1.2? Install Oktoprep, upgrade to 1.1.2 through i-Tunes? Then what? How to jailbreak 1.1.2?

I have searched the forums and found some info here and there but nothing that seems to describe precisely the situation I am in with my phone.

I also don't know what bootloader I have either so I'm really confused and out of touch with the latest goings on....I'd really appreciate any info.

    Thanks folks

Thanks, don't know how I missed this....I did search.

Looks like a lot of steps and mighty complicated. Is it worth it?

Well, as you can see from profile I am still at 1.1.1. I do not think I would gain much from upgrading to 1.1.3; probably more from 1.1.2, but if I did it I would go all the way to 1.1.3. So, right now I still watching the forum and deciding......

I too am waiting and watching from the side lines.

Currently on OTB 1.1.1 firmware with 04.01.13_G modem firmware, software unlocked using anySIM v1.1

Reading the forums and it seems that there are many people who have having problem with the jailbroken version of 1.1.3 (Dev Team's) and it going to recovery mode if you reboot your phone.

Right now the new features for 1.1.3 aren't that appealing for me yet to risk having a phone that is buggy. 1.1.1 has been stable, no crashes, and such since November 2007. I would suggest waiting. I'm.

at least to go 1.1.2 it's faster, and i would said very stable with all the third party software working.
with all the unlocking available now, there is now worry, you can downgrade, upgrade to fix any problem may occurs during the whole process.
    I like my new 1.1.3
